Brighton Farmers' Market
Each year the Brighton Farmers' Market attracts thousands of people to downtown Brighton to purchase some of the freshest fruits and vegetables, the tastiest bread, organic honey, garden decorations, the choicest flowers and plants, as well as a huge selection of crafts and jewelry.
The Brighton Farmers' Market runs from Saturday, May 2, 2009 through Saturday, October 31, 2009, rain or shine.

Art at the Millpond
Art at the Millpond lends an atmosphere of festivity to summer Friday evenings downtown.
Now in our eighth year, Guild members display, create and sell their art in this unstructured event in front of the Millpond along Main Street, in Downtown Brighton Millpond.
Folks enjoying an ice cream or taking an after-dinner stroll along Main Street may wander by and visit with the exhibiting artists. Some Fridays include live music performed by Guild members.

Bill Rogers will be hosting a four segment class on "How To Find A Job In Michigan" in hopes of helping those in Livingston County who are unemployed. Livingston County's unemployment rate is currently 13.3 percent, and I believe that a majority of those who are unemployed are mid-career employees who have not had to search for a job in years or those who have recently graduated college and do not even know where to start.
Each segment is free of charge for all who wish to attend, and all four segments will be held at Cleary University in the Johnson Center Building located at 3750 Cleary Drive, Howell, MI 48843.

Segment #1 is going to focus on teaching people how to utilize the World Wide Web to search for jobs, proper online and interviewing etiquette and skills, and we will have a few professional resume builders offering free 5 to 10 minute resume reviews for everyone.
